About Lex-FX

Lex-FX was founded by Alexander Lewis in June 2009.  Alexander is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS in Computer Science and also a student of Zen Buddhism for many years.  He began trading Forex in June 2007 and spent much time and money researching various trading strategies.  In October 2007, he discovered Cyrox High Frequency Trading through a free online forum.  Using his knowledge of Computer Science, Zen Philosophy, and Cyrox High Frequency Trading, he formed Lex-FX as a way to correlate his various talents and skills, make profit trading and educate people about the way he has found success in the Foreign Exchange.

Lex-FX has three main functions:

  • Forex Trading
  • Forex Software
  • Forex Education

Lex-FX Trading Purpose

  • Please do not contact Lex-FX if you are looking for a managed Forex fund.
Our company exists solely for the purposes of the three main functions listed
    above.

Lex-FX Trading Method

Zen Philosophy Applied to Cyrox High Frequency Trading

Disciplined, routine practice (every trading session)

  • Waking up early
  • Making tea
  • Practicing Zen Meditation
  • Trading strictly using
    Cyrox tools

Using the "beginner's mind" approach

  • Clear, focused mind
  • Focus only on one chart (Cyrox Power Dashboard)
  • Eliminate ALL external bias
    (other technicals, fundamentals,
    news, opinions or beliefs)

Detachment from emotions (profit or loss)

  • Know the risk of each trade and accept it fully
  • Do not become confident with your profits
  • Do not become discouraged with your losses

The importance of a teacher

  • Be humble, always willing to learn
  • Seek guidance by following a master
    (Cyrox Workshops and Forum)
  • Do not "go it alone" (join the forum or skype)

Focus on the immediate action, rather than a lofty goal

  • Do not set profit targets or set out to seek
    "enlightenment" (getting rich quick)
  • Focus on your daily practice (Cyrox drills)
  • Continue practice until it becomes your nature

Understanding impermanence, being susceptible to change and accepting loss

  • Never become "married" to a position
  • Always be ready to close or
    reverse your position
  • Respect the inevitability of loss
  • Know when to take your loss
